Polycet EAMCET and IIT-JEE which is better

Every student who passed 10th class will be in a dilemma to choose their further plans to continue studies.  There are many roots to continue their studies as per interest of the student.   Most of the students choose intermediate then degree and engineering, medicine, economics, commerce and other financial degrees like M.Ba. Some students will choose Polytechnic and other occasional courses.

The students who want to choose Engineering as their career have many ways to reach their goal, among them there are three important ways to pursue engineering as given below.

  1. Polytechnic Engineering Diploma through Polycet and Engineering
  2. Intermediate or Class XII and Engineering Through EAMCET and other exams
  3. Intermediate and Engineering in IITs Through IIT JEE

1. Polytechnic Engineering Diploma and Engineering

Polytechnic is a course which offers Diploma Engineering.  A special entrance examination called Polycet is conducted by Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and in all other states, for various courses like electronics, civil, mechanical, computer science and communication etc.  The students those who passed X class or equivalent are eligible for the entrance test.  The seats are allotted completely based on merit(Ranks) and reservations.  Government and many private colleges offering different courses in Polytechnic throughout the country. Students who get seat in will complete their course in three years.  After completion of the course students will get opportunities in various industries as per their courses. If student want to study further they have chance to continue engineering degree courses through other entrance tests like Ecet.  Student will get directly 2nd year admission in 4 years engineering degree.

2. Intermediate(Class XII) and Engineering Through EAMCET

Most of the students after their X class they choose intermediate and then engineering.  Many institutions offer 4 years engineering degree for the students after their Intermediate.  Government and Private engineering colleges offering civil, electronic, mechanical, computer science, aeronautical, communication and other courses are being introduced as per global requirements.  Governments conduct EAMCET entrance exams in AP and Telangana.  Low competition is there for this entrance exam as we compare with IIT JEE.  Different states conduct various entrance examinations for engineering degree admissions in the country. Here also based on merit and reservations the admissions will take place.  Students will get many opportunities after completing their 4 years degree.  Many Companies visit the colleges during campus placements select the students with good packages.  Students who want to pursue further studies can take admissions for M.Tech through GATE examinations, and many Universities offer M.S and M.Tech in India as well as abroad.  Most of the students are interested in completing their PG courses from foreign countries like the USA, UK, Australia, and Canada etc...

3. Intermediate(Class XII) and Engineering in IITs Through IIT-JEE

Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) are Prominent world class technical institutes in India, providing engineering degree courses.  First IIT was started in 1951 Kharagpur, now 23 Indian Institutes of Technologies are working in all corners of India and making professional engineers.  Computer science, aeronautical, mechanical, chemical, petroleum, electrical, industrial, communication, civil, automobile, aerospace and marine engineering courses are being offered by IITs, along with engineering in design, dual degrees in engineering and many courses are being introduced as per the needs of the nation and the world.

Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE) is conducted for the admissions into all IITs and other national engineering colleges.  The students with Intermediate or Class XII are eligible for this test.  High competition will be there for this entrance.  Nearly 22 lacks students are registered for this test in 2021. The JEE exam will be conducted in two stages one is JEE(Mains) and other JEE(Advanced).  The students who qualify in the JEE exam have to apply to various IITs, NITs and other National Institutes for the admission.  Based on merit in JEE exams and reservation admissions will be allotted to the students.

Polycet, Eamcet and IIT-JEE which is better?

Obviously the engineering in IIT is better than Polytechnic and engineering with Eamcet.  Indian Institute of Technologies are world class institutes with high quality resources, research labs and world famous faculty.  Many of the IIT faculty received India's famous 'Padma' award.  IITs always be forward to start new courses as per global requirement.  Most of the courses are being run by the IITs with collaboration of Internationally famous Universities.  Dual degrees in IITs will help in all round development of the students.  Students who got their degrees from IITs are leading the world famous industries and our nation. 100 percent placement is one more important aspect in attracting students towards IITs.  Generally the placements in IITs will start in December every year.  The companies from all over the world participate and select the students with high salary packages.  Parents believe that getting admission into IITs itself is an assurance for the jobs for their children,  and they spend a lot of money for the institution for IIT-JEE  entrance.  Polytechnic and engineering in state level colleges also build great careers for the students, but when we compare it with IITs they will be treated as IITs in building of career.  So, it is a tough job to get admission in IITs  but, our hard work definitely will give a great career and recognition on world platforms.
