What WAR Messaging?
'War', this is the word
trending in the media across the world for the past five years. Ukraine and
Russian war, Israel and Palestine war, Yemen, Syria internal wars Finally US and
Iran wars created a lot of human loss, left many people homeless, and thousands
of people were injured. The next generation is sent to orphanage homes. Global
market crashes, energy crises and inflation have become common problems for
every country. People of Europe, America, Asia, Africa and rest of the world are the
indirect victims of these wars. Job cuts are a common word in multinational
companies. Apart from that, sanctions from the U.S on various countries.
After the US and Iran war
the global problems reached their highest peak. It has impacted the global
energy supply chain. Prices are creating new peaks which make the life of a
common man critical. India is also facing a severe energy crisis. Cooking gas, petrol
and diesel prices impacted 1.4 billion people. To fulfil the energy needs
of India, the government purchased most of the crude oil of the Russia. To
restrict India, the US has passed a new bill to impose 100 percentage of tariffs on the countries getting Russian crude oil.
This is the time to
change the dependency on other countries for imports. Governments need to
reduce their imports. India is a huge market for the rest of the countries,
this should be changed. The government is also seriously working on this. New trade agreements signed with European Union, England, Newzealand etc. Many
new schemes are being implemented. One of the main step is launching India’s first hydrogen fuel train, launched on
17 July, 2026 on the 89km Jind and Sonipat route in Haryana, Which is a 10‑coach,
1,200 kW fuel cell trainset with a capacity of about 2600 passengers and first
indigenous hydrogen train and may soon be extended to Delhi in future.
‘SEMICON’ is the one more scheme to encourage the
manufacturing of semiconductors and chips which are considered the heart of
smartphones and computers. SAGARMANTHAN is the another programme brings
with it both opportunity and responsibility. To lead in global maritime
governance, India must foster deeper engagement with policymakers, business
leaders, and thought leaders. By shaping conversations around sustainable
practices and forward-thinking strategies, India can redefine its role in the
maritime domain.
